2022 Winnipeg Municipal Election Mayoral Candidate Survey - Arts & Culture

Dear Members,

On October 26th, Manitobans across the province will be selecting and electing their new Mayors, Councillors, Reeves, and School Board Trustees. 

With an important Mayoral race in Winnipeg, Manitobans for the Arts invited all Mayoral candidates to respond to a survey, and to share their plans for the arts and culture sector. Our questions to the candidates focused on investment in public art, increasing support for artists and making arts and culture a priority for city planning. We have shared their responses on our website and you can view it here. Our thanks to the Winnipeg Arts Council for their informative and strategic counsel in developing the survey. 

Manitobans for the Arts believes that everyone has a role to play in ensuring the creative sector flourishes in Manitoba. Your vote in the Municipal elections on October 26th is key. Our hope is that this survey helps you in selecting which candidate deserves your Arts Vote.
