2022 Manitoba Municipal Elections

With upcoming municipal elections around the corner in communities around the Province, Manitoba Arts Network and Manitobans for the Arts are collaborating to equip organizations with strategies and information on engaging electoral candidates in their various communities.  This initiative will be carried out in three parts; an advocacy pre-election toolkit, three peer network conversations and an advocacy post election toolkit. Our thanks to the Manitoba Arts Council and the Winnipeg Arts Council for their engagement and participation.

The advocacy pre-election toolkit is intended as helpful information for artists, arts workers, and arts and culture organizations on how to engage your candidates from door knocker questions, to elections do’s and don’ts. The toolkit is available here.
