Manitobans for the Arts commits to continuously engage in practices that are transparent, inclusive, cooperative and non-partisan as it develops programs and supports the community.

Mandate

In the pursuit of our core objectives, Manitobans for the Arts will:

Engage

Foster relationships with partners, stakeholders and members throughout Manitoba. It will establish cultural priorities and pursue initiatives that will contribute to the growth of arts and culture across the province.

Inform

Develop expertise and engage the public through research, analysis and policy development. Information will be distributed throughout Manitobans for the Arts’ membership and beyond to promote activities, events and networking.

Advocate

Bring our members’ concerns and issues to the attention of decision-making bodies and stimulate participation in public consultations and discussions.
