Next Draft Culture is March 27, 2025
Draft Culture: Session 4 – “Bracing for Impact: Arts & Culture in Uncertain Times.” Acknowledging the economic and political instability of the next 4 years.
Bringing together members from across the Arts and Culture sector, Draft Culture is a small, monthly get-together for our members to exchange ideas, concerns, beefs and anything else that comes to mind - while sitting with a group of peers in an informal setting.
Our next Draft Culture is scheduled for Thursday March 27, 2025.
Raise a glass at this session as we discuss what the on again - off again trade wars and the general economic uncertainty mean for the Arts & Culture Sector in Manitoba. How are tariffs affecting your organization and what can we do as a sector to mitigate the impact? Additionally, what role does Arts & Culture currently play as threats (or jokes?) of annexation loom over us.
As before, we will limit the size of this event to 15 people, so that all attendees can participate and get the maximum value from these discussions. Registration is only for members, so please ensure your membership is up to date. Not a member? Not a problem. Please click on one of the colourful boxes below to become a member!
As Draft Culture continues to grow, we want to ensure equal access to our entire Manitobans for the Arts membership. As such, a digital version of these events is in the works. Topics will continue to vary, so if you are unable to attend an in-person Draft Culture, please reach out to us via email and let us know what topics you want to see in the future.
